Originally published in 1994, by Bradbury Press, my 32 page picture-book for the littlest of readers shares information and tips about recycling and doing good things for the environment. Very young children learn to count and do their part in taking care of the earth from crocodiles who carpool, tigers who turn off faucets, leopards learning about recycling plastics, and pandas planting trees.
March 2019I am incredibly honored to be working with these amazing, talented women! We have formed Women Creating CommUNITY Lansdowne! www.womncc19050.org We celebrate the fresh, powerful, and diverse voices in our community. We highlight the work by a wide and multigenerational range of talents: the well-established professional, people at the beginning of their careers, young imaginative voices, creative women who don’t label themselves as artists, experienced crafters who create in the privacy of their homes, and more. Winter 2019The family of magazines WHERE WOMEN CREATE, WHERE WOMEN WORK and WHERE WOMAN COOK won best launch for a new magazine in 2018! I was honored to be included in the winter issue of WHERE WOMEN CREATE. In 2010, my artwork was featured in all four issues of the inaugural year of WHERE WOMEN COOK magazine as part of the “Farm Love” column.
